Ram Silwal, the founder of Royal Beach Camp and a leading figure in Nepal’s adventure tourism. With more than 30 years of professional experience in whitewater kayaking and expedition leadership, he is widely recognized for his pioneering contributions to river exploration and adventure Tourism in Nepal.
He was the first person to paddle all seven rivers originating from the Everest and the first Nepali kayaker to successfully descend the River of Everest (Dudh Koshi River) in 2000. His paddling career includes extensive river expeditions across Nepal as well as Asia and Europe. He has worked as specialist for British army adventure trainings on leadership & safety management. He has worked with Gerry Moffatt on documentary films that been shown on Outdoor Life Network and National Geographic Channel.
Through Royal Beach Camp, Ram Silwal applies global best practices to deliver high-quality adventure experiences and international safety standard.

Mountain Expeditions

Mardi Himal Trek
Duration: 6 Days
Grade: Moderate
Altitude: 4500 m.
The Mardi Himal Trek is a short yet spectacular journey that offers stunning mountain views. The route passes through rhododendron forests, traditional villages, alpine meadows, and rugged high-altitude terrain. This scenic trek leads to Mardi Himal Base Camp at 4,500 meters, rewarding trekkers with breathtaking panoramas of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli.
Starting and ending in Pokhara, the trek is ideal for those with limited time who still seek an authentic high-altitude Himalayan experience. Teahouse accommodation is available throughout the trek.

Everest Base Camp Trek
Duration: 16 Days
Grade: Challenging
Altitude: 5500 m.
Welcome to a mythical place where people have lived at the foot of the mighty Chomolungma for centuries. You may know her as Mount Everest; in Nepal, we call her Sagarmatha.
Let us take you on this bucket-list adventure from Kathmandu to Everest Base Camp, following a well-balanced program with plenty of time for acclimatization.
Trek with us through the foothills of the high mountains, along rugged trails and across deep gorges, all while surrounded by dramatic landscapes and breathtaking mountain views. Along the way, we pass monasteries and traditional villages, learning about the history, culture, and daily life of the Himalayas.

Mountaineering Course
Duration: 21 Days
Grade: Challenging
Altitude: 5500 m.
Our Basic Mountaineering Course is an immersive introduction to high-altitude climbing in the Himalayas, designed for those who dream of standing on the summit of a Himalayan peak.
Set in the stunning Langtang Valley, this course combines trekking, technical skills training, and a real expedition experience. You will learn essential mountaineering techniques such as rope work, rock and ice climbing, glacier travel, and rescue skills—all under the guidance of highly qualified instructors and experienced climbers.
The course concludes with a summit attempt of Yala Peak, giving you your first true taste of Himalayan mountaineering in a safe, supportive, and professionally guided environment.
