Trek through deep valleys with striking scenery, visit remote mountain villages and challenge yourself to cross the Thorung La Pass at 5 416 m.

Basic Mountaineering Course with summit of Yala Peak

A fantastic experience for those who are curious about mountaineering and have the dream to stand on top of a Himalayan peak.

The trip starts with a couple of days trek and acclimatisation in the rugged  Langtang valley. We then move up to our expedition camp where you are  introduced to the equipment and techniques for a summit attempt. Moving as a team up the mountain we cross glaciers and climb to reach the summit of Yala Peak.

SEASON: Best time to visit is March-April & October-November.

NO OF PARTICIPANTS: Group joining or private trips.

  • Full board incl. filtered water.

  • Tea house and hotel accommodation on shared basis.

  • Trekking and/or Mountaineering, incl. technical equipment, guides & safety team.

  • When applicable, expedition camping with tented accommodation.

  • Travel insurance.

INSTRUCTORS / GUIDES: Our guides have many years of experience guiding in the Himalayan mountains and have NMA and First Aid certifications. Our mountaineering guides have multiple Everest summits in their resumé and are UIAA qualifed.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Personal toiletries, incl. towel, soap & sunscreen. Please use eco friendly, biodegradable products.

  • Personal medication if applicable.

  • Clothing and shoes fit for trekking and/or mountaineering. Please follow the pack list specific to your trip.

  • Walking poles, flashlight and refillable water bottle.

TRIP STARTS & FINISH AT: Kathmandu.

We can arrange airport service and hotel in Kathmandu on arrival and departure. Please contact us directly.
