Youth Leaders
5 days / 4 nights
INSPIRATION - CHALLENGE - PURPOSE
Through adventure sports and the outdoors, this program give students the tools and skills to build confidence, purpose and leadership - in their personal, social and professional life.
Workshops.
Students will explore how to critically reflect over personal as well as professional challenges, learning how to navigate challenges and find purpose in life. Through working together in different exercises we also begin to better understand others and improve our ability to cooperate successfully.
Outdoor Activities.
The outdoor activities and adventure sports, such as rafting and canyoneering act as tools to help students find the courage to face fears and build confidence in their own capacity. Ability to trust and collaborate with others is also improved, as well as the skills to make sound decisions.
Mindfulness & Meditation.
Meditation and a variety of mindfulness practices are a daily component of the program. The exercises help you find a sense of inner strength and peace, while improving your ability to focus - a critical skill to achieve good results.
Spending Time in Nature.
Spending time in nature is proven to improve our immune system, reduce stress and improve our ability to sleep, along side many other health benefits. It has also proven to bring a deeper sense of joy and belonging. During this program we enhance all these qualities through dedicated moments of reconnecting with nature.
Making a Difference for Others.
During the program students will learn the many ways they can become change makers for a better world. Together we take tangible action to support the local community and protect our precious environment.
