Mindfulness Weekend
2 days / 1 nights
Learn how to balance your life, practice being fully in the moment and reconnect with nature. Gain insight into the 5 Balances; Physical, Mental, Social, Emotional & Spiritual, through outdoor activities and challenges.
DAY 1:
Arrival to RBC between 09:00 - 11:00. After an introduction and admin, you settle in. We start with river worship and continue with a nature mindfulness practice focusing on the 500 million year old rocks on the beach.
We have lunch and afterwards go for a hike in the hills. While out we also practice compassion mediation looking out over the landscape.
Tea is served when we return and we start our workshop learning about the 5 Balances and how we can implement them in our lives.
After dinner together in the evening we gather to tell stories and reflect over the day by the campfire.
DAY 2:
Wake up for a hot coup of tea. We start the day practicing compassion meditation and mindfulness by the river.
After breakfast we head out on a soft river journey in rafts. While paddling we have the opportunity to practice all the 5 Balances and to connect deeper with nature. We end the trip with a snan in the river, thanking her for keeping us safe.
After lunch together, we sit down and reflect over what we have experienced and learnt over the weekend. Departure in your own time.
