an adventure on the way?
Travel
between your destinations and enjoy an adventure en
route including rafting, canyoning and kayaking, Royal
Beach Camp stay, hiking off the beaten trail into the
Chepang hills, meeting one of Nepals ethnic groups,
getting a wonderful view of the Himalayan mountains
- all in five intense days!
This trip is perfect to combine with moving around Nepal,
especially en route between Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan
National Park, a trip that most visitor to Nepal does
at some point. The trip can be done in both directions.
We have designed this trip to give you a great experince
as you travel on river and foot between your destinations.

MULTIDAY KAYAKING ::: |

of our basecamp at the Royal Beach we do multiday kayaking
on all of Nepals rivers. Trips are done selfsupported
for individual kayakers or small groups and with raftsupport
for bigger groups. Trips include private or local transportation,
river and campinggear and an experienced guide to make
sure you do not miss out on the best action! |

Warm water, beautiful scenery. Great for intermediate

Non-commersial river, easy accessible from The Royal
Beach Camp. Upper section challenging Class IV water,
lower section beautiful class II-III water. |

Khola - 3 days
One day hike to the put-in and 2 days of fun and technical

Silwal and his team from the Royal Beach guides kayaking
all over the Himalayan region. The trips varies from
multidays paddling for experienced kayakers to major
multi-week, self-supported expeditions for professional
paddelers. |
Himalayan
Rush - the best of Himalayan kayaking in 2 weeks!
On this two week trip we run five of Himalayas rivers,
Trisuli, Seti, Kali Gandaki, Madi and Marsyangdi. We
camp on the rivers and stay in teahouses and hotels.
We travel on private transportation between the different
take-outs and put-ins.

Kali
Gandaki River Journey - Himalayan Paddling Expedition!
NEW!
Raft supported kayak expedition so non kayakers can
also join this holy river expedition! This is a trip
designed for the beginner in white water kayak. Experience
the Himalayas from your kayak, travel 140 km on the
holiest river of the country, and visit remote villages
and curious people. This is the epic journey of a lifetime!
During the trip you learn to paddle easy white water
up to Class III+. Raft supported kayak expedition so
non kayakers can join too.

Sun
Koshi - Riverjourney of a lifetime!
A 10-day adventure on one of the worlds great rivers.
We start close to the Tibetan border and paddle 280
km through class II - IV white water to the take out
close to the Indian border. The trip is raft supported
and non kayakers are welcome to come on the raft. We
camp on the riverside.

Tamur
- 11 days trekking and kayaking!
We fly to Birathnagar and drive to Bashantapur where
we start our four days trek to get to the put-in. We
walk over 3000 meter ridges with breathtaking wievs
of Makalu and Kanchanjunga, some of the worlds highest
mountains, and visit the sacred lake of Gupha Pokhari.
On our fifth day we reach our put-in at Dhovan. The
first two days challenges us with class III-IV white
water. The river then offers us a little rest for a
day with some mallow water before it picks up again
and we are back in the pumping white water for our last
two days. Non-kayakers are welcome to join for some
of the best rafting in Nepal! |
Karnali
- the Wild West!
10 days big water, expedition style journey in the
wild west! We fly to Nepalganj and drive to the put-in.
The river is big volume, class III - IV white water
for the first four days. Then the river mallows out
and let us enjoy the untouched nature and faboulous
scenery and we get the chance to meet some cool local
people. We camp on the white, sandy beaches. |
Zanskar
Gorge (class III - IV)
The Zanskar River is the "Grand Canyon of Asia"
and a world class river trip with stupendous scenery.
The trip is expeditionstyle with raftsupport. The river
is mainly Class III with several sections of Class IV
water. The Zanskar is a committing river with no road
or trail down the main part of the canyon. Also paddle
rafters are welcome and rafters with some kayakexperience
will have the chance to trade places with kayakers and
paddle the more tranquil sections of the canyon. We
camp on the riverside and have the chance to stop and
explore the many beautiful side canyons. Season: July
- August. |

ADVANCED EXPEDITION KAYAKING ::: |
Monsoon
Experience - The trip for the experienced kayaker! NEW!
Challenge
Nepal's big monsoon waters and non-commercial creeks!
This is a nine days white water challenge for the experienced
paddlers. To participate you should be a confident boater
on Class III+ waters and have a solid roll. The trip
is done with a base is Royal Beach Camp. Then we move
on to some of the exciting nearby secret creeks for
two days of creeking. These creeks have been explored
by us and paddled by a handful of boaters only. We finish
of with some Class IV high water boating on some of
the legendary Nepali rivers.

Dudh
Koshi (class IV - IV+)
The drain of Mt. Everest offers a true challenge for
the expedition paddelers. The trip is a self-supported
two week adrenalin boost down the steepest river on
earth. We fly into Lukla and trek up to Nam Che Bazar
where we have a fantastic wiev of Everest before we
proceed to our put-in at 2500 meters above sealevel.
We enjoy great class IV white water and a genuin expedition
adventure. Season: November - April / May. |
Arun
Gorge (class IV - V)
Arun drains from Mt. Makalu, the fifth highest mountain
in the world and the Arun gorge is the deepest gorge
in Nepal. We start our two weeks trip by flying into
Tumlingtar and trek for four days to reach our put-in
at Num bridge. We then paddle through the amazing gorge
offering challenging class IV - V white water for professional
expedition paddelers. Season: March-April. |

Multisport
Challenge across Nepal
Mountain bike - Kayak - Raft - Hike - Jungle Safari
(12 days)
Enjoy a 12 days challenging multisport adventure across
Nepal. By MTB, kayak raft and foot we travel from Katmandu
to Pokhara! This is the trip for you who want a lot
of action in a short period of time! On the trip we
do everything's from riding a mountain bike in the steep
slopes of the Himalayan foothills, kayak and raft in
the great white water of Nepali rivers, hike off the
beaten track to remote villages hardly ever visited
by tourists to ride elephants in the jungle of Chitwan
National Park.

Himalayan
Challenge - Multisport expedition of a life time!
Trek - Moutain bike - Kayak - Raft - Jungle Safari
(3 weeks)
On this 3 weeks multisport expedition, you trek for
a week from Kathmandu to Dhunche, visiting some of the
most remote villages in the Helambu and Langtang region.
You will trek through a 4500 meter pass and visit the
frozen lake Gosinkunda before dropping down to Dhunche.
From there we ride mountain bikes, down the steep slopes
of the Himalayan foothills. Two days later you are on
the kayak or raft in the great white water of the Trisuli
River. After two days of paddling you arrived at our
base camp - The Royal Beach Camp. Here you have the
chance to go canyoning our own explored beautiful waterfalls!
Three more days on the raft or in the kayak will get
you to ride elephants in the jungle of Chitwan National
Park. If you are lucky you might even see a tiger! We
finish our expedition in beautiful Pokhara.
