SETI KHOLA RIVER TRIP

Rafting or kayaking down the river Seti is one of the most beautiful short river expeditions in Nepal. The warm water of this beautiful river passes through stunning jungle scenery, green hills and local village and offers magnificent view of the Himalayas at our river starting point Damauli. It is an excellent river for intermediate kayakers to develope paddling to the next level. This river has plenty of straightforward class II - III rapids. The Seti is an ideal trip for those wanting to experience some of the stunning river scenery in Nepal and try the river expedition life in short time. It is also very well suited for a familiy raftingtrip. The Seti rivertrip is also a perfect add on to a kayakingcourse, finishing off with a short riverexpedition!

| NOTE! You need to arrive at the latest the night before the trip at RBC, as we start out early in the morning. Dinner and overnight at RBC is included in the trip. | |
| DAY 1: | We make an early start from Royal Beach Camp with our river crew and all the equipment. It takes about two hours drive to reach the river starting point at Damauli. Here you will help preparing the rafts and go through the river safety. After a short paddle on the Madi khola you will arrive on the confulance of the Seti. Shortly we will be punching an easy class III rapid before entering the stunning jungle corridor. There are plenty class II white water to enjoy. We chose a beautiful beach to set up our camp for the night. In the evening we enjoy our dinner and campfire and sleep in tent or shelters. |
| DAY 2: | After breakfast you will help packing and loading the rafts and continue to roll down the river. Today there are lot´s of rapids on the river. You will be passing local villages, fisherman fishing and women washing cloths. We will be scouting a few rapids, learning to read the water and find a safe line down the river. Just before reaching the confulance with Trishuli you wll be punching a few more class III rapids. Ones you arrive on the Trishuli river confluence the take out is right around the corner at Gaighat. From the takeout it takes a one hour drive to Chitwan National Park or 2 hours back to Royal Beach Camp, 4 hours to Pokhara and 6 hours to Kathmandu. We can arrange transport in any direction. |

| EXPERIENCE NEEDED: | If you want to kayak the Seti some kayaking experience is recommended, it is perfect to combine with a few days kayak course in RBC before setting out for the Seti river trip. To raft down this river no experience is needed. |
| INSTRUCTORS / GUIDES: | The trip is lead by professional expedition kayakers from Royal Beach Camp with many years of experience in the Himalayan rivers. Our leaders are SRT- KRT- and BCU-certified and have thorough river rescue qualifications. |
| NO OF PARTICIPANTS: | Group joining or private trips on request. |
| INCLUDED: | One night at RBC (before the trip starts, you need to arrive at the latest the night before the trip at RBC, as we start out early in the morning), All meals, tented accommodation, transportation RBC to RBC, guides and instructor. Well maintained Equipement. |
| NOT INCLUDED: | Travel insurance, emergency evacuation. Personal expenses, such as drinks. Transportation from the takeout to any other destination. Let us know if you want us to arrange your transport when you book. |
| WHAT TO BRING: | Sleeping bag, mattress and flashlight. Warm cloths for the evenings. Shorts and warm fleece, teva- sandal or river shoes for the day. Sunglasses, hat, sun protection, mosquito repellant, personal toilettries and personal first aid.. |
| TRIP START / FINISH: | RBC to RBC. Let us know if you want us to arrange transport from the takout to any other destination when you book. |
