MONSOON EXPERIENCE
This is the trip for the experienced kayaker who want to challenge Nepal´s big monsoon waters and non commercial creeks!
This is a nine days white water challenge for the experienced kayaker. To participate you should paddle Class III+ waters with confidence and have a solid roll. The trip is done with the Royal Beach Camp as a base. The trip starts at Royal Beach Camp with a couple of days warm up paddling on our home river Trishuli. Trishuli is a big volume river that rocks after monsoon! This is as big as it gets! Then we move on to an exciting nearby secret creek that has been explored by us and paddled by a handful of boaters only. Then we move on to paddle some of the famous Nepali kayaking rivers, Seti, Marsyangdi and Bhote Khosi - and we do it in big water! The trip is lead by one of our experienced river leaders from Royal Beach Camp. This is a intense kayking experience. We paddle a lot in nine days and we paddle when and where others don't go - join us for a true Monsoon Experience!

| DAY 1: |
Arrive at Royal Beach Camp and fit your kayak and gear. In the afternoon we go boating. Trishuli is a big volume river that rocks after monsoon! This is as big as it gets! |
| DAY 2: | We again kayak the mighty Trishuli and punch some massive class IV rapids. Overnight at Royal Beach Camp. |
| DAY 3: | After breakfast we drive to Thopal Khola, a small class III+ creek that can only be paddled during monsoontime. Thopal Khola drains in Trishuli and we return on our "homeriver" to the camp. Overnight at Royal Beach Camp. |
| DAY 4: | Today we drive to the Seti river to kayak this classic river for two days. We put in at Damauli and run down to Saranghat on the first day. The river is big and offer us some challenging class III - IV water. We stay the night in a local teahouse. |
| DAY 5: | Today we continue paddling Seti with more challenging clss IV water. We take out at Naranghat and return to RBC. |
| DAY 6: | Today we paddle two different rivers in one long day. We start early and run the trishuli down to Mugling where we jump on a local bus, taking us to Marsyangdi. We run a 12 km section of worldclass white water, class IV, on Marsyangdi. We return to the camp for the night. |
| DAY 7: | We drive to Bhote Khosi, a full day drive. We stay the night in a rivercamp. |
| DAY 8: | Today we paddle Bhote Khosi, kayaking class IV water with some nice playwaves. We stay overnight at the rivercamp. |
| DAY 9: | On our last day we make an early start to go to Balefi Khola, we put in at Jalbiri and paddle this small volume, fast moving water, continous class III - IV. In the afternoon we drive back to Kathmandu / RBC. |

| EXPERIENCE NEEDED: | Previous kayaking experience is needed. You should have a solid roll and paddle class III+ white water with confidence and be willing to push your limit. |
| INSTRUCTORS / GUIDES: | The trip is lead by professional expedition kayakers from Royal Beach Camp with many years of experience in the Himalayan rivers. Our leaders are SRT- KRT- and BCU-certified and have thorough river rescue qualifications. |

| WHAT TO BRING: | Your personal kayaking gear. Kayak can be rented from us if you do not have your own. Sleeping bag, mattress and flashlight. Warm cloths for the evenings. Shorts and warm fleece, teva- sandal or river shoes for the day. Sunglasses, hat, sun protection, mosquito repellant, personal toilettries and personal first aid.. |
