WHITE WATER KAYAK COURSES

STEP 1: 2 days beginners course
If you have never tried white water kayaking this is where it starts! We begin with the basics, depending on the level of your kayaking experience. We cover how to get in and out of the boat, basic paddling and rescue techniques. We train ferry glide (crossing the river) and getting in and out of eddies. You also start learning the Eskimo-roll.

STEP 2: 2 days beginners course + 2 days advanced course
We continue with two days covering eskimo-roll training, surfing waves and advanced paddling- and rescue techniques. We paddle class III white water. The course also provides an introduction to play boating.

STEP 3: 2 days beginners course + 2 days advanced course + 3 days river running course
The last three days, after doing step 1 and 2 we develop the skills learned. The river running course includes scouting rapids, reading water, practicing communication skills and developing paddling technique. We run river and focus on developing each individual participant into a confident kayaker.
