Day 1: Rafting
You arrive at RBC in the morning (see www.royalbeachnepal.com for information
about how to get to RBC). After lunch we raft the Trisuli River and punch
some class III - IV challenging white water, including rapids like Ladies
delight, Monsoon, Upset and Surprise! We do an approx. 20 km section.
We return to the camp on local transport and spend the night at the Royal
Beach Camp.
Day 2: Canyoning
We use our own explored beautiful waterfalls for canyoning. Dependning
on waterlevel we have different locations. The approch to the falls are
through small trails up the hills, through fields and forrest and into
the gorge, through the jungle... And then, all off a sudden there is a
series of beautiful waterfalls. Hook on to the ropes and go off the edge!
We jump and slide the smaller falls and absail with rope and harness down
the bigger ones. A real thrill and cool adventure - hang on a vertical
cliff with water splashing on your head!
Day 3: Kayak introduction course
If you have never tried white water kayaking this is where it starts!
We begin with the basics, depending on the level of your kayaking experience.
We cover how to get in and out of the boat, basic paddling and rescue
techniques. We train ferry glide (crossing the river) and getting in and
out of eddies. You can also try the Eskimo-roll. After lunch we paddle
some white water! In the afternoon you return to the camp to collect your
bags, and then you head towards your next destination.
Day 4 - 5: Trek to Chitwan
After brakefast on day 4 you leave the camp together with our guide and
go uphill, over the last range of Nepali hills before the Indian plains.
We go through the seldom visited Chepang area, meeting the hilltribes
living here. From the hilltops we get beautiful wievs of the Himalayan
range. We stay the night in a local village. On our last day we trek down
to Shaktikor and from here we drive one hour to Saurha, the gateway village
to Chitwan National Park. You can also move on to Kathamndu, Pokhara or
any other destination from here.
