BUDI GANDAKI RIVERTRIP
|
Budi Gandaki is a seldom paddled river draining from Ganesh Himal
offering a trip off the beaten track with stunning views and exciting
white water.

NOTE! You need to arrive at the latest the night
before the trip at RBC, as we start out early in the morning. Dinner
and overnight at RBC is included in the trip. |

DAY 1:
|
After early breakfast at RBC we have a full day drive
to Arughat where we camp for the night. |
| DAY 2: |
We start the day with a trek up river to Soti Khola
to paddle the top section of the river, a good class III strech with
beautiful mountain background. This is off the beaten track and we
meet curious villagers looking at our adventure from the shore. Lunch
on the riverbank. We camp the night again at Arunghat. |
| DAY 3: |
Full day paddling down the Budi Gandaki punching some
exciting class III - III+ white water. We lunch on the riverbank and
camp overnight at a beautiful, white sandy beach. |
| DAY 4: |
We continue our rivertrip. In the morning we paddle
down to the confluence with Trisuhli and then continue on our "homeriver"
down to Royal Beach Camp. |

Starting a few times a week during season, October
to June. |
| EXPERIENCE NEEDED: |
If you want to kayak the Budi Gandaki some kayaking
experience and a solid roll is needed. To raft down this river no
experience is needed. |
| INSTRUCTORS / GUIDES: |
The trip is lead by professional expedition kayakers
from Royal Beach Camp with many years of experience in the Himalayan
rivers. Our leaders are SRT- KRT- and BCU-certified and have thorough
river rescue qualifications. |
| NO OF PARTICIPANTS: |
Group joining or private trips on request. |
| INCLUDED: |
One night at RBC (before the trip starts, you need to
arrive at the latest the night before the trip at RBC, as we start
out early in the morning), all meals, tented accommodation, transportation
RBC to RBC, guides and instructor. Well maintained equipement. |
| NOT INCLUDED: |
Travel insurance, emergency evacuation. Personal expenses,
such as drinks. |
| WHAT TO BRING: |
Sleeping bag, mattress and flashlight. Warm cloths for
the evenings. Shorts and warm fleece, teva- sandal or river shoes
for the day. Sunglasses, hat, sun protection, mosquito repellant,
personal toilettries and personal first aid.. |
