Rush (class III- IV) |
| These
two weeks expedition-kayaking trip is taking you through stunning scenery,
remote villages and the challenging white water of great Himalayan rivers!
In two week we paddle five of Nepal's best rivers. |
|
On
this two-week trip the best expedition paddlers in Nepal. Will guide
you down five of the great Himalayas rivers - Trisuli, Seti, Madi,
Modi and Marsyangdi. We camp on the riverbank and stay in teahouses
and an occasional night to rest in the comfort of a Pokhara hotel.
We travel on private transportation between the different take-outs
and put-ins. Once on the rivers we are completely self-supported
for a few days - carrying what we need in our kayaks. This is the
trip for paddlers who want to test their limits! We warm up on the
class III Trisuli River and stay in our base camp at the Royal Beach.
We then move on to Pokhara for our next river - Seti. Seti offers
us class IV white water and breathtaking views of the over 8000
meter surrounding peaks! Our third and fourth rivers on this exciting
expedition are the Madi and Modi Khola. Both rivers are technical
and will challenge even the experienced paddlers. To get to our
put-ins we need to trek. Porters help us carry our boats as we make
it into the more remote areas and up the steep rivers draining of
the famous Annapurnas. We finish with the Marsyangdi, offering raging
white water and fantastic views of Manasalu from the eddy. Marsyangdi
is often counted as one of the top ten white water rivers in the
world!
