Ram
Silwal
The Royal Beach Camp and Himalayan Extreme Sports
Institute is headed by Ram Silwal. Ram is a professional
kayaker, instructor and expedition leader. Ram holds
a diploma in adventure tourism and is a professional
kayaker and riverguide, SRT- and BCU-certified. He
has worked as senior riverguide, kayakinstructor and
consultat in several countries around the world, including
Nepal, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, France, India, Thailand
and New Zeeland. He has lead and participated in several
major riverexpeditions, many of them featured in international
adventure- and paddling magazines and some of them
turned into films showing on channels like National
Geographic Channel and Outdoor Life Network.

Bishnu
lives in the nearby village Charaundi and is our Camp
manager. Bishnu takes care of our base operation, seeing
to that everyone is comfortable and having a good time.
Bishnu is also the one to assure that everything in
the camp, from meals to activities, are running smoothly.
Bishnu is also a saftey kayaker and canyoning guide. |

Balahang
is trained at the camp and is now our Activities
Manager. He works as tripleader, saftey kayaker, canyoning-
and raftguide. Blan knows everything there is to know
about RBC and our activities, if you have a problem
Blan is the one who will solve it for you! |

Rohit is one of our canyoning guides and
saftey boaters. As all our guides Rohit is trained at
the camp and has thorough first aid and river rescue
qualifications. His favorite activity is absailing down
our biggest waterfall. |

Anu
is the one who takes care of us all, staff and guests.
She is organizing our meals and drinks and always has
a cup of coffee ready exactly when you need it! Anu
also works on the river and is one of the very first
Nepali female kayakers! |
 |
Pemba
is our experinced cook in the camp and sometimes
on your trips or expeditions. To have a great time in
the Himalayas not only the fantastic rivers is enough
- you also need some fantastic food and Pemba is your
guy! He will serve you a delicious meal wherever you
are. Pemba is trained as a kayaker at the camp and he
is the first Sherpa kayaker in the country. |

Mr
Cool is just like the name! He is the oldest kayaker
in Nepal - he started kayaking at the age of 64! When
he is not on the river he fixes things around the camp
and can build absolutely anything in bamboo! Mr Cool
also keeps a little eye on us all... |

Pia
is handling our international marketing, and plan
and arrange itineraries and special trips for international
groups. Pia is based in Sweden and Nepal and when she
is not busy in her office in either end of the world
you find her in the Royal Beach Camp or on expedition. |
